Every year is a little different. 2025 saw many of my largest cases settled through mediation or “old school” negotiations.
Thus, in 2025, we were able to settle amongst others:
- A highly contentious dispute involving a publicly traded company and its former CEO;
- A professional negligence suit against an engineering firm, related to a GTA subdivision development;
- A long-standing dispute where we acted for a Provincial professional regulator and its insurer; and
- A novel administrative law dispute for a Police Services Board involving a statutory disability scheme.
