
Whelton Hiutin LLP lawyer Wei Jiang recently succeeded on a summary judgment motion and obtained an order for the return of deposits to the purchaser in a failed commercial real estate purchase and sale transaction. The vendor was found to have dishonestly performed the contract by failing to disclose, prior to the agreement of purchase and sale becoming unconditional, that one of the major tenants of the commercial plaza had breached its lease and left the premises.
