Our Legal Team

Tahir joined Whelton Hiutin LLP as an Associate in 2025. He is passionate about litigation, with a focus on civil and commercial matters. Tahir brings a strong interest in dispute resolution, cultivated through both academic excellence and hands-on advocacy experience during law school. He is particularly drawn to cases involving business, real estate, and entrepreneurial ventures, and is keenly interested in the intersection of law, politics, and business.

Tahir earned his J.D from Osgoode Hall Law School in the spring of 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. During his time at Osgoode, Tahir was actively involved in various legal and community initiatives, including the Osgoode Muslim Law Students Association. He also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, working with the Immigration and Refugee law clinics in support of marginalized communities.

Tahir’s legal perspective is shaped by his entrepreneurial mindset and his longstanding interest in political and economic issues that influence the legal landscape. He is committed to helping clients navigate complex legal challenges with practical, strategic, and forward-thinking advice.

In his free time, Tahir enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing volleyball, and watching hockey and MMA.
