Our Legal Team

Henry joined Whelton Hiutin LLP as an articling student in 2026. He has a strong interest in civil litigation and has been determined to pursue a career in legal advocacy from a young age.

Henry earned his J.D. from the University of Ottawa’s English Common Law program in 2026. During law school Henry engaged in a number of moot court competitions to sharpen his written and oral advocacy. He competed in the Intact Tort Law Moot, earning a spot in the finals and winning a scholarship award for best opening statement. Henry also participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where he and his team won the Canadian national championship and represented Canada at the competition’s international rounds in Washington D.C.

Henry was also a founding member of Obiter Society, a student-run club at the University of Ottawa focused on organizing extra-curricular events for law students, which earned honours as the English Common Law Program’s club of the year in 2026.

Prior to law school, Henry earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Guelph and earned a diploma in Music Production and Engineering.

When Henry is not working, he spends his free time watching movies and learning new musical instruments.
